Westminster was the basis for my education. I came out of WA prepared for college.

Westminster Academy students earned these honors in 2005-2006:

  • 82% of the 6th grade class earned the prestigious Presidential Academic Award.
  • Westminster's 6th Grade placed in the top 12% nationally in the Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl, "America Answers." The Quiz Bowl tests student knowledge of math, science, history, literature, language, geography, etc.
  • 8 Westminster students won state awards, and 37 students won district awards in Mississippi Private School Association's Art Competition.
  • 3 Westminster students earned state awards in Mississippi PTA's "Reflections" Cultural Arts Competition.
  • 3 Westminster students earned Presidential Physical Fitness Awards, and 16 students earned National Physical Fitness Awards in The President's Challenge Physical Fitness Program.
  • Westminster's Top Reader earned 687 Accelerated Reader points.
